Alison Lee plays Scriabin

The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 1750 29th Avenue, San Francisco, CA

Join pianist Alison Lee one-hour program of music by Alexander Scriabin! A Russian composer of the late Romantic period, Scriabin (1872-1915) is known for his mystic-sounding and "otherwordly" tonal language. Young Scriabin was particularly inspired by the music of Frederic Chopin, so if you're familiar with Chopin's music you'll hear the resemblance -- and distinction -- between the two composers' styles in this program.

Presented by Sunset Music and Arts.
